A bouquet just gathered from the garden would be a fitting complement to this basket. My wife suggested that it could also serve to hold napkins on a buffet table. I am sure you will find many other uses for this basket.
This basket was made for teaching at a basket makers convention. Upon completion of the oval base it is folded to create the side slope followed by the coiled handle. This greatly simplifies the coiling and crafting of the basket. Upon completion of the coiling raffia is added to the arches at the handle juntion to the sides.
It mesures 13" long, Basket base 7", Across handles 8" and is 7 1/2" high.
