My booth at Craft shows in the late fall always had a small artificial Christmas tree for displaying several miniature baskets. I thought that pine needle stars would be a nice addition to my tree and would also appeal to my customers. It was a challenge to fabricate the first stars and to make the process as straightforward as possible. In summary, each star is made up of 5 intersecting legs and each leg has 3 pine needle clusters that are wrapped with nylon thread. The instruction detail to make the stars takes several pages with appropriate artwork supplementing the instructions.
The star is about 1" point to point.
